For Annmarie Kaiser, the drive and
desire to create unique and interesting jewelry stems from a deep seated love of
personal adornment. Having first graduated college with a business degree, and
then again with a nursing degree, Annmarie found it necessary to venture back to
school once again. This time, not in pursuit of a degree, but instead in search
of the skills necessary to actualize her vision of jewelry for the educated
contemporary woman. When we at sohotogo asked for an Artist statement, Annmarie responded "I chose to venture into jewelry making simply because I love jewelry. Everything from hand wrought metals, to strung beads. It all interests me, and as such, it all has a place in my approach to jewelry making." Whether it be the glorious shimmer of one of her tightly woven 18k gold chains, the earthy quality of her hammered and patinad sterling silver bracelets, or the luster and refinement of one of her beaded necklaces, we at sohotogo hope you find something here that speaks to you.
